I have been a member of the Ultrafit community for about six months now. This has been the best decision I have made for my health and fitness. For years I have had memberships at large corporate gyms and have gone through quite a few personal trainers
only with little to no benefit. My problem was I was only working out certain parts of my body on certain days, I was not gaining any knowledge about nutrition, weight training fundamentals, or body mechanics. Working with Dean and his staff at Ultrafit Clinic I have made the most progress physically than ever before in my life. Dean uses Crossfit training workouts, which I believe is the best type of training there is by combining gymnastic, Olympic weightlifting, and MMA. Dean gave me a free consultation where he listened to my goals and developed a workout and nutrition plan to fit those goals. Under Dean’s training I went from 295 lbs to 268 lbs, waist 46 in to 43 in, belly 49½ to 43¾, chest 51 to 48. And I continue to lose about six pounds a month. I went from never doing heavy weightlifting to reaching a max dead lift of 445 lbs. The reason I have been so successful is because of Ultrafit Clinic. They have taught me fundamentals of workouts, nutrition not dieting, and they give me support all day everyday. See when you join Ultrafit clinic you don’t join a gym or just have a personal trainer you are joining a community where you can get support whenever you need it. They also use the safest and best weight lifting equipment available in their gyms. I am glad I am part of the Ultrafit community and plan on remaining one for a long time.

I started going to Ultrafit Clinic in late August. It was the best decision I have ever made health wise in my life. The first time I went there I just knew this was the place. I too have been too many corporate gyms and they just shove you thru the process beg you to buy their so called fitness training packages and then hardly ever speak to you unless it’s about collecting a payment! Dean took over an hour just to get to know me and to get to know my goals and what I wanted to accomplish. Not only that but helped teach me how to eat clean. Since I started I have lost 20 pounds of fat! I still have plenty to go but with the help and support of UltraFit Clinic I KNOW I will succeed! On those days where I think OMG I am never going to lose this weight he is there to say YES YOU WILL! As they state "CAN'T" is not in our vocabulary! Dean is also like a psychologist always listening to all my woes! He is just a great person! I tell everyone how happy I am to be a member, don't wait to be a part of the Ultrafit clinic gang! It’s a pleasure to workout with everyone there! So if you’re not signed up somewhere or even if you are, like I was SIGN UP today! It will be the best thing you will ever do for your body and mind!!!!

ohhhh i am mad about not being able to do the workout with squats and martial arts!! darn it i dont wanna be sick!!! i miss the gym Dean!!! and ummm that pic of Matt doing god knows what on that bar will you let me know when its time for that day so that i AM NOT THERE lolol miss you guys

I've been a member of UltraFit Clinic for about 3 months now, and I will NEVER go back to national chain gyms again! UltraFit Clinic is the ideal model for how a gym should operate. For the first month, I met with a trainer individually to learn (an unlearn!) how to perform every movement properly. The trainers took the time to explain everything--how proper alignment creates more power, the theory behind training for "functional movement," and how it looks and feels when you're doing it right. They answered every question, demonstrated every movement themselves before I did it, and were unfailingly encouraging. Now that I've moved on to regular routines, the trainers still personalize and modify the workouts. They still make me review movements in the Workout of the Day (WOD) before I start to make sure I'm remembering how to do them properly and to check the weight. EVERY TIME. This is authentic PERSONAL training! The only thing the trainers DON'T do is count--they're too busy watching your form and correcting it to remember what rep you're on, so heaven help you if you've lost count! I can't tell you how many times the "trainers" at the chain gyms would sit me at a machine and count to 15--zero explanation, zero improvement, 100% frustration that I paid good money for a human countdown timer. But at UltraFit Clinic, the atmosphere is completely different. The clientele is definitely intense when it comes to the WOD, but they are NOT your typical narcissistic bodybuilder gym rats. Instead, there's a pervasive feeling of comraderie. Everyone knows each other by name and encourages one another through every WOD. Even I--the slow, wimpy girl who comes in after everyone else is midway through their WOD--get compliments and encouragement from the other guys. I see them doing utterly amazing things, yet I'm not intimidated at all.
I found UltraFit Clinic purely by chance surfing the web (probably just like you right now). I knew I needed personal training because I need the accountability of a standing appointment. But I didn't want to pay for a "package" and get locked into a contract if it wasn't going to work or I hated it. I did the math, and I figured that per session it would be relatively inexpensive to try UltraFit Clinic for a month, and since it's month-to-month I could always get out if it sucked. So I tried it, and I didn't hate it. For someone who is practically allergic to fitness, that was a huge breakthrough. I've been searching for years for "my thing," and I found it HERE.
