Yoga Instructor Minimize

Moonshadow CYT, LMT

As a 20+ year student of yoga, Moonshadow utilizes a gentile approach to her practice and teachings with her students. Her continuing education with Erich Schiffman, Donna Farhi, Ana Forest, and Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen feed her passion for understanding Hatha Yoga and exploring being human. Moonshadow recognizes that each individual was created with different physical and anotomical features that allow them to express their movements diferently.  As such, she modifies the practice of Yoga to meet the abilities of each student allowing those who need more time to develop a chance to practice the movements through modified range of motion while others are given the challenge required to allow them to continue to progress.  She is most interested in mindfully connecting breath and whole body movement with focus allowing personal awareness to the universe to unfold.

As a licensed massage therapist, she is also keenly aware of the anatomy and the affects that the yoga movements have on each individual's body.  She uses this greater awareness and knowledge to teach her students a holistic approach to yoga including personal lifestyle and nutritional influences.
