Welcome to UltraFit Clinic

Join us at the new UltraFit Clinic in downtown Tempe and at The Clarendon Hotel in Midtown Phoenix. We were so overwhelmed with requests for our proprietary 20-minute "AFMT" (Advanced Fat Mobilization Techniques ) physical training and "Clean Eating" program that we had to retool our approach to distribution and technology to be able to serve more clients at one time. This program is fun and more like a sport than a workout routine.



The UltraFit Clinic
program uses Conjugate Periodization, training different strength qualities, each of which have their own neuromuscular paths and requirements - Explosive Strength (plyometric) - Maximal Strength (weighted movements) - Endurance Strength (High reps). We train all three strength qualities back to back, and while one system is recovering, another is being worked. Combined with short bursts of dynamic aerobic endurance activities, we create a neuroendocrine-changing workout. We combine bodyweight movements, along with free weights and aerobic activities all in one session, to create a stimulation to your hormonal system that lasts long after your training ends.  This means more post-exercise fat mobilization, less fatigue and greater mood elevation, all in less time. Our program is based on the latest scientific research that goes beyond core training or high intensity training.

As a CrossFit® affiliate, we utilize CrossFit® methodologies to perform maximum work capacity in a minimal time period. By utilizing a pre-designed "Workout Of the Day" (WOD), we scale and customize the prescribed routine for your fitness level, conditioning and requirements.  Additionally, we have teamed up with ProSpot Fitness® to bring you the leading edge technology in weight lifting equipment.  With the Valley's only commercial installation of the Fusion HG6 self spotting "Grab and Go®" technology, you can perform hundreds of free weight and cable movements without ever leaving your equipment station.

Classes start on the hour, and the core of the program is as tight as it gets - 20 minutes, 3-5 times per week!  We start with some warm-up, followed by some fundamental training and launch into our Workout of the Day (WOD). When coupled with our eating plan, you will feel as if the aging process has been reversed and your body restored to levels you have not seen in years.


This is not a gimmick or a fad diet. It is real, applied, cutting-edge science utilizing proven techniques accumulated from some of the best research labs and universities in the world. These formula prescriptions are unknown to most of our clients because they are not part of the information distribution channel used by fitness professionals and scientists.  Even most health professionals and trainers are tied to old dogma on body chemistry and kinesiology.  Much has been discovered in the past 5-10 years that is being used by elite athletic programs and advanced health professionals but has not yet filtered out to the mainstream fitness industry.  Nothing works better than this program for overall health and fitness.

Our space is limited to 4-8 people per session and you will never have to wait for equipment as each workout is scripted ahead of time so that the class works at their own station or in a circuit pattern. Need to hear more?
You will love our location at The Clarendon Hotel in Midtown.  We feature Cybex machines, Lifefitness elliptical, treadmill and bikes.  Along with a full set of rubber coated dumbbells and medicine balls, we give you everything you need for a full workout.  When you are done in the gym, you can get some exercise by the pool or just hang out and enjoy an after workout meal.

Our Programs:
 

We hold our workouts as mini training classes.  With each session you will learn new exercises, the hows and whys of your physical movements and tips and tricks for nutrition and diet.  The core of our program revolves around a 12-20 minute routine which is scripted in advance each day using CrossFit® methodologies and taught by our trainers in small group classes of 4-8 individuals.

Science is now showing that just 20 minutes of high intensity workouts per day are enough to solicit physical adaptations in our muscular and hormonal systems.  Additionally, by changing the exercises and the methods daily the body never adapts to the training and is continually trying to gain ground for the next session.

With the addition of our "clean eating" program, your recovery and weight loss will happen in the background without becoming the focus of your attention.  You will naturally shed pounds and become stronger, more flexible and have more constant energy than ever before.
